HOW TO NREMT BOOT CAMP ENROLLMENT POLICY
HOW TO NREMT BOOT CAMP ENROLLMENT POLICY
Effective Date: May 30, 2025
1. Introduction
This Enrollment Policy governs participation in the 14-day National Registry Exam Prep Boot Camp (“Boot Camp”) offered by How to NREMT (“we,” “us,” “our”). By enrolling in the Boot Camp, participants (“students,” “you,” “your”) agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth in this policy.
2. Program Structure
The Boot Camp is conducted online via Zoom and spans 14 consecutive calendar days. Instruction takes place Monday through Friday with seven (4) hours of live instruction per day (includes short breaks). 2-hour sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
3. Refund Policy
3.1. All Sales Final
All purchases for the Boot Camp are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances unless you have purchased the Guaranteed to Pass Insurance Policy (Section 4).
3.2. Non-Attendance and Emergencies
Refunds will not be granted for inability to attend any portion of the Boot Camp for any reason, including but not limited to illness, emergencies, scheduling conflicts, time zone confusion, family issues, or travel interruptions.
3.3. Technology Failures
We are not responsible for technology-related issues that hinder or prevent participation. This includes, but is not limited to: internet outages, insufficient internet speed, Zoom platform outages, hardware or software failure, power loss, or disruptions in the student's environment.
3.4. Extenuating Circumstances
At our sole discretion, students who experience documented, verifiable extenuating circumstances may be eligible to transfer their enrollment to a future Boot Camp session. Approval is not guaranteed and supporting documentation may be required. No refunds will be provided.
4. Guaranteed to Pass Insurance Policy
4.1. The Guaranteed to Pass Insurance Policy is an optional add-on available at the time of enrollment. Students who purchase this policy may be eligible for a full refund only if they do not pass the National Registry Exam and meet all policy-specific requirements. These requirements are outlined in a separate Guaranteed to Pass Insurance Policy document, which is incorporated herein by reference.
4.2. Eligibility typically includes full attendance, active participation, completion of required assignments, and timely submission of requested documentation. Failure to meet these requirements voids eligibility for a refund.
5. Attendance Policy
5.1. Students may attend as much or as little of the Boot Camp as they choose. However, minimum attendance and engagement requirements apply for students seeking a refund under the Guaranteed to Pass Insurance Policy.
5.2. Weekend sessions are optional and provided for review or makeup of missed weekday content. No makeups will be offered beyond the scheduled Boot Camp period.
6. Technology and Access Responsibility
6.1. Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to a working computer, stable internet connection, and a functioning Zoom application prior to and during the Boot Camp.
6.2. We are not responsible for any issues related to a student’s access, equipment, internet service, or software that may impair their ability to participate fully in the Boot Camp.
7. Code of Conduct and Grounds for Removal
7.1. Students are expected to maintain professionalism, respect, and integrity throughout the Boot Camp. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats (verbal, written, or implied)
- Dishonesty, cheating, or misrepresentation of identity or participation
- Use of hate speech, discriminatory language, or offensive remarks
- Unauthorized recording, copying, or distribution of Boot Camp content
- Disruption of instruction or interference with the learning environment
- Any conduct violating local, state, or federal laws
7.2. We reserve the right to immediately remove any student from the Boot Camp for violating this Code of Conduct or any policy herein. Such removal may occur without warning and at the sole discretion of How to NREMT. Students removed for cause are not entitled to a refund or future enrollment.
7.3. We further reserve the right to refuse future enrollment or deny access to any of our programs based on prior behavior, violation of policies, or risk posed to staff or students.
8. Time Zone Policy
All live sessions are scheduled in Central Standard Time (CST). It is the responsibility of each student to adjust for their own local time zone and ensure they join sessions at the correct times. Missing sessions due to time zone confusion does not entitle the student to a refund, credit, or extension.
9. Non-Transferability
Enrollment in the Boot Camp is non-transferable. Students may not share, assign, or transfer their enrollment or access credentials to any other individual. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate removal without refund.
10. Intellectual Property and Content Use
All instructional content, including lectures, slides, handouts, recordings, and supplemental materials, is the exclusive property of How to NREMT.
Reproduction, distribution, recording, screen capture, resale, or reuse of any materials is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use may result in removal, permanent banning, and legal action.
11. No Chargebacks or Payment Disputes
By enrolling in the Boot Camp, you agree to not initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider or financial institution unless you can prove fraud. Any attempt to reverse a valid charge will be treated as a breach of this agreement and may result in collections action, legal enforcement, or permanent ban from future programs.
12. Recording Consent
By participating in the Boot Camp, you consent to the recording of sessions for training, quality assurance, or internal review purposes. These recordings may include your audio, video, name, or image. All recordings are the property of How to NREMT and will not be distributed publicly without written consent.
13. Force Majeure
How to NREMT shall not be held liable for any delay, disruption, or cancellation of services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, labor disputes, government restrictions, widespread technology failures, or outages affecting hosting platforms such as Zoom.
14. Right to Modify Policy
How to NREMT reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this Enrollment Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication and apply to all participants, past and present.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Enrollment Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
In the event of any dispute arising from or related to this policy or your participation in the Boot Camp:
- You agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting How to NREMT in writing.
- If an informal resolution cannot be reached, you agree that any claim or legal action will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
- You further agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to bring any claim solely in your individual capacity (not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action).
This provision survives any termination or expiration of your participation in the Boot Camp.
16. Acknowledgment of Agreement
By completing your enrollment, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms in this policy. You understand that participation is conditional upon full compliance and that violation of these terms may result in removal without refund or legal recourse.
