HOW TO NREMT PURCHASE OPTIONS CANCELLATION POLICY

OVERVIEW
This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy explains the membership purchase options, recurring billing arrangements, automatic renewals, and cancellation procedures offered by How To NREMT, operated by The How To LLC and also known as The How To Company.
This policy applies to recurring subscriptions and other applicable membership purchase options.
Refund eligibility is governed separately by our Return and Refund Policy. Canceling a membership and qualifying for a refund are separate matters.
SECTION 1 - AVAILABLE PURCHASE OPTIONS
A. Free Memberships
How To NREMT may offer free memberships providing limited access to selected educational resources.
Free memberships do not require recurring membership payments.
Free accounts may receive a limited number of AI credits to try eligible AI-powered features. The amount of AI credits, if any, included with a free account is determined by the applicable free membership description and may change prospectively.
The included features and usage restrictions are determined by the applicable membership description.
Students may upgrade to a paid membership when an eligible purchase option is available.
B. Monthly Memberships
Monthly memberships provide access to the educational resources and features included in the selected plan.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at purchase, monthly memberships automatically renew at the disclosed recurring price until canceled.
The applicable membership price, billing frequency, and renewal conditions are presented before purchase.
Eligible monthly memberships currently include 4,000,000 AI credits when the membership begins and 4,000,000 additional AI credits on each monthly renewal date while the membership remains active. If a particular monthly plan provides a different amount, the amount disclosed for that plan at purchase controls.
C. Annual Memberships
Annual memberships provide access for the purchased membership term.
When an annual membership is sold as a one-time purchase without automatic renewal, access expires at the end of that term.
Any annual membership expressly offered with automatic renewal will have its recurring billing conditions disclosed before purchase.
The current one-year membership includes 8,000,000 AI credits for the purchased one-year term. Unless expressly stated otherwise at purchase, the one-year membership is a fixed-term purchase and does not automatically renew. If a particular annual plan provides a different AI credit amount or renewal arrangement, the terms disclosed for that plan at purchase control.
D. Other Purchase Options
How To NREMT may offer two-year memberships, lifetime memberships, promotional memberships, and other educational packages.
The applicable purchase description establishes the membership's duration, included features, payment arrangement, and renewal conditions, if any.
Tutoring, Boot Camps, and other separately purchased services may have additional cancellation or rescheduling conditions described in our Return and Refund Policy.
SECTION 2 - AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
Recurring memberships automatically renew according to the billing frequency disclosed during purchase unless canceled before the applicable renewal.
By purchasing a recurring membership and accepting the disclosed subscription terms, the student authorizes the applicable payment provider to process recurring charges according to the agreed billing schedule.
Recurring billing continues until the subscription is canceled or otherwise terminated.
The recurring price, billing frequency, and cancellation method must be disclosed before purchase.
A membership expressly sold as a one-time purchase without automatic renewal will not automatically generate recurring membership charges.
SECTION 3 - PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Membership purchases may be processed through Shopify, Stripe, or another authorized payment provider, depending on the purchasing platform.
Students who purchase recurring memberships authorize the applicable payment provider to charge their selected payment method according to the accepted subscription terms.
Students are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.
Failed payments may result in interrupted or restricted membership access, subject to applicable law and the relevant purchase terms.
SECTION 4 - HOW TO CANCEL A RECURRING MEMBERSHIP
Students may cancel recurring memberships at any time.
Where online cancellation is available, students may use the membership management features provided through their accounts.
Students may also submit a written cancellation request to:
Cancellation procedures must be reasonably accessible and comply with applicable law.
Students experiencing technical difficulties with cancellation should contact support promptly.
SECTION 5 - WHEN CANCELLATION TAKES EFFECT
Cancellation ordinarily prevents subsequent renewal charges.
For a recurring membership, access generally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Cancellation does not independently entitle a student to a refund for a previously processed payment or unused membership time.
Access may terminate earlier if a full refund is issued or if the membership is lawfully terminated under another applicable provision.
Students should cancel before their next scheduled renewal if they do not wish to continue their memberships.
SECTION 6 - CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION
After a cancellation is successfully processed, How To NREMT will provide confirmation through the applicable account system or communication method.
Students should retain their cancellation confirmations.
If a student does not receive confirmation or believes a cancellation was not processed correctly, the student should contact support promptly.
SECTION 7 - PURCHASE CONFIRMATION
For recurring memberships, applicable purchase confirmations will identify the relevant subscription and billing arrangement as required by law.
Students should review their purchase confirmations and promptly report any apparent billing errors.
SECTION 8 - MEMBERSHIP ACCESS AFTER CANCELLATION
Students who cancel recurring memberships ordinarily retain access through the remainder of their current paid billing period.
For fixed-term memberships without automatic renewal, access ordinarily expires at the end of the purchased term.
Cancellation does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of the student's account or educational progress.
Relevant educational records may remain associated with the account according to our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 9 - RENEWAL CHARGES AND REFUNDS
Processed subscription renewal charges are generally nonrefundable unless another provision of our Return and Refund Policy or applicable law establishes eligibility.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges once successfully processed but does not automatically reverse charges that have already occurred.
Failure to use an active membership does not independently establish refund eligibility.
Students seeking a refund must satisfy the applicable requirements and deadlines established in our Return and Refund Policy.
SECTION 10 - PROMOTIONAL CANCELLATION OFFERS
How To NREMT may occasionally present optional promotional offers when students initiate cancellation.
Such offers may include temporary discounts or other membership incentives.
Accepting an offer that continues the membership means the subscription remains active under the terms disclosed with that offer.
Students are not required to accept a promotional offer to complete an otherwise valid cancellation.
SECTION 11 - PRICE CHANGES
Membership prices and available plans may change.
The applicable purchase price and billing frequency are disclosed before checkout.
Where a price change affects an existing recurring membership, advance notice and any required consent will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
Changes will not be implemented in a manner that violates existing contractual commitments or mandatory consumer protections.
SECTION 12 - MEMBERSHIP CHANGES
Students who purchase a membership for an incorrect certification level should contact How To NREMT.
Where appropriate and available, we may transfer the membership to the correct certification level.
Transfers, upgrades, and other membership changes may affect access to particular educational features.
Any additional charges or changes to recurring billing must be disclosed and authorized as required by applicable law.
SECTION 13 - FREE MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES
Students may purchase paid memberships after using free educational features.
The applicable purchase provides access to the resources included in the selected paid membership.
Students who access or use educational features through a free membership before purchasing a paid membership are not eligible for the three-day satisfaction guarantee, as described in our Return and Refund Policy.
Eligibility under any separate Guaranteed to Pass provision remains subject to its applicable requirements.
SECTION 14 - AI CREDITS INCLUDED WITH MEMBERSHIPS
A. Included AI Credits
Certain memberships and account types include AI credits for use with eligible AI-powered features.
Unless a different amount is expressly disclosed for the applicable plan:
- Monthly membership: 4,000,000 AI credits when the membership starts and 4,000,000 additional AI credits on each monthly renewal date while the membership remains active.
- One-year membership: 8,000,000 AI credits when the membership begins, for the one-year term.
- Membership through a participating school or agency: 4,000,000 AI credits each month based on the applicable student's or user's start date, subject to the organizational agreement and account configuration.
- Free account: a limited number of AI credits may be provided periodically to allow eligible users to try AI-powered features. The amount, frequency, and availability are determined by the applicable free plan description.
The AI credit amount disclosed for a particular plan or organizational agreement controls if it differs from the amounts stated above.
B. When Credits Are Added
For monthly memberships, included AI credits are added when the membership starts and on each applicable renewal date while the membership remains active.
For one-year memberships, the included AI credit allocation is provided for the purchased term as described above and in the applicable purchase description.
AI credits provided through schools, agencies, free accounts, promotions, or other arrangements are added according to the schedule applicable to that account or program.
C. Unused Credits and Carryover
Unused AI credits carry over and remain associated with the account, subject to the Terms of Service, account status, and any applicable organizational agreement.
Purchased additional AI credits do not expire.
AI credits have no cash value and are not independently refundable. Additional AI credit purchases are final and nonrefundable, including when credits are unused or partially used, except for verified billing or fulfillment errors or where otherwise required by applicable law. Refund eligibility is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
D. Using All Available AI Credits
If a user exhausts the AI credits available to the account, features that require AI credits may pause or become unavailable until additional credits are added through the applicable membership schedule or the user purchases additional AI credits when eligible.
Exhausting AI credits does not terminate the underlying membership. Educational features that do not require AI credits remain available according to the applicable membership terms.
Eligible members may be offered the ability to purchase additional AI credits through the applicable AI usage or account interface after reaching a specified usage threshold. The current purchase threshold may be set at ninety percent (90%) of available AI credits and may be changed prospectively.
E. Cancellation and Membership Expiration
Canceling a recurring membership prevents future membership renewals once cancellation becomes effective, but does not automatically remove AI credits already associated with the account.
When a membership ends, AI credits remaining in the account remain associated with that account. No new membership AI credits are added after the membership ends unless the user has another qualifying plan or arrangement.
The ability to use remaining AI credits after a membership ends depends on the requirements of the applicable AI-powered feature. A feature that independently requires an active paid membership may remain unavailable even when AI credits remain in the account.
If the user later purchases another qualifying membership, remaining AI credits continue to be associated with the account and new included AI credits are added according to the new membership's applicable schedule.
F. Membership Refunds
AI credits included with a membership have no separate cash value and are not independently refundable.
If a membership payment is refunded, AI credits associated with that refunded payment may be removed from the account in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
G. Changes to AI Credit Allocations
We may prospectively change the number of AI credits included with a plan or the amount of AI credits required to use particular AI-powered features, subject to applicable law and existing contractual obligations.
Changes apply going forward and do not remove AI credits already credited to an account. Material changes to the number of AI credits included with an active plan will be communicated as required by applicable law and contractual obligations.
SECTION 16 - SCHOOL AND ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPS
Schools, EMS programs, and other organizations may purchase memberships under separate written agreements.
Such agreements may establish different enrollment, billing, cancellation, and refund arrangements.
Where a separate organizational agreement governs a purchase, its applicable provisions control, subject to applicable law.
Students who independently purchase individual memberships remain subject to the applicable individual membership policies.
SECTION 15 - ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Membership access may be suspended or terminated for material violations of our Terms of Service, fraudulent activity, unauthorized account sharing, or other lawful reasons.
Termination does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund.
Applicable refund eligibility is determined under our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
SECTION 17 - CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
How To NREMT may update this policy prospectively.
Material changes affecting active recurring memberships will be communicated according to applicable law and existing contractual obligations.
The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
SECTION 18 - APPLICABLE LAW
This policy is subject to applicable United States federal law and the laws of the State of Texas.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights or protections applicable in another jurisdiction.
